June 6th – Educational Workshop on Knife Crime

Location: Dartford
Number of students: 12
Activity: Educational Workshop on knife-crime.
Comments: Our young people are a lot wiser than we think. Many of them commented that parents should not be allowing their children out late at nights and that they are responsible for their child’s behavior I quote ” my parents wouldn’t let me go out after 8pm” ” I have consequences when I misbehave”.

The students were challenged today in regards to the term “snaking” or “grassing”. First many believed that they should never “grass” if they know that someone amongst them has a weapon. In the end, after much discussion, they all agreed that it is necessary to speak up especially when lives are at risk.
